My Father's Prayer

The Lord's Prayer

In 1997 Songee came with the first of Her two Teachings about the Father's Prayer. Songee spoke that we could regain the Power of this prayer by taking ownership and responsibility for our selves when saying this Prayer.

In New Zealand we are taught these words to say as children in our Christian Churches.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
Thine is the Power and Glory,
For ever and ever,
AMEN

My Father's Prayer

Songee has gifted us this different idea - My Father’s Prayer.

Roberta-Margaret has put together these words to help us to understand the ideas behind the Songee teaching.

My Father,

(Remember you are talking to 'Your' Father.)

Who is the Heavens,

All holy is Thy Name to me.

(Feel the energy of the connection to 'Your Father' when you say this.)

I am Thy Kingdom and I come to Thee,

May Thy Will be done in Thy Kingdom, upon the Earth as it is the Heavens.

(Feel this.)

Please give me this day my daily bread,

(On the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and fiscal. At this point you may like to ponder for a space upon what you FEEL that you need for your life on this given day. It may be that there are things in your life that you would like to change for the better. Use this time to talk with 'Your Father' about it and how you might best set about achieving whatever it is. When you are clear about what it is you feel needs to happen then come back to the beginning and confirm with 'Your Father' "Please give me this day my daily bread".)

Forgive me (please) my trespasses.

(Here you need to ponder upon the real and the imagined wrong that you may have done unto others. For example - Have you felt jealous of somebody / Made a Judgement about someone / Been angry with someone without real cause.)

And lead me not into temptation,

(What is temptation? It is ANYTHING at all that will take you away from the plan that you have set out for yourself, the changes that you would like to see happen in your life that you have just discussed with 'Your Father'. For example - Spending more money than you have at your disposal on anything that is not a need. This may place a strain upon your finances, your relationships, you family etc. Follow the adage "When in doubt, don't".)

And deliver me from all forms of evil.

(This means just what it says, All Forms.)

Thine is the Power,

(Be humble when you say this and feel the blessing of the Power coming to you, into 'The Kingdom'.)

For Thine is the Kingdom,

(Once again you are affirming to 'Your Father' that you are his instrument upon the Earth.)

And ALL THE GLORY.

(Here you are acknowledging to 'Your Father' that any work the you do it is for the Glory of Him and not of yourself. In honouring this, the Power and the Glory can manifest through you in your daily life for other to feel and see.)

Now and forever more.

Thank you, and So Be It
